TrEno is a seasonal Tourist service running in the Piedmont Region in north Italy. The beauty of this service is that the ticket is inclusive of Spumante during your trip, lunch or early Dinner in a typical Italian Osteria - and more wine and Spumante!
The train is running only on specific dates during the Summer period (excluding July & August), and the short train is made up of heritage carriages and locomotive from very old times, beautiful restored and taking you from Turin and back across a wonderful countryside, as slow as possible - no high speed here!
This heritage train is run in cooperation between Fondazione FS and the provinces of Langhe/Monferrato/Roero well known in Italy for their fantastic food and wine produced here (Nebbiolo, Barolo and Barbaresco wines are all from this area)
Really an unforgettable experience, on an heritage train back to its glory!
